April: Someone asked in that class whether the follower was supposed to lean back in the spin (for the last couple moves). We did some spins like that this weekend, so I now have an answer! The leader leans back, so that his hand remains above the follower. Since the follower doesn’t know this move is coming, forcing her to lean back could hurt her. I think Adam and I actually do that in this video, but I don’t think we explained that well in class.
